Following the Twin Tower tragedy of September 11, 2001, I created a portrait titled, Speechless, to help me come to terms with how I felt inside – if that was at all possible…
Today, in commemoration of that day ten years ago, I am reposting Speechless in hopes that in some small way my thoughts and prayers will be felt by the family and friends of the lives lost on that day…

In Remembrance…
As I have done each year since the Twin Tower tragedy in New York City on September 11th 2001, I am making prints available of the original artwork titled Speechless. This portrait was created in tribute to the firefighters and their families in the aftermath of the Word Trade Center devastation.
This year I have added a hint of color to the artwork. Below is an example of the print matted and framed.
The original portrait style of Speechless is realism created in the traditional medium of graphite pencil. The original artwork can be viewed in detail at my official website.
High quality fine art Giclée prints are available in several sizes and preferences of art papers. The best art papers to use for artwork reproductions are a flat matte surface paper. If you are interested in purchasing a print, please visit Prints at Imagekind.

I wanted to update everyone on a change to my official website. I most recently implemented a new domain name which ultimately changes the URL address.
Please take a moment to bookmark the new URL address and if providing a link to my portrait services, change your link to the new URL address as soon as possible. It also might be helpful to forward this to acquaintances you feel may be affected by this change.
Old Site Name: Daune Sheri Art Studio
Old Site URL: www.daunesheriartstudio.com
The change is a simple one that basically excludes the words “art studio”. Please make note of the new name and address below:
New Site Name: Daune Sheri
New Site URL: www.daunesheri.com
Thank you for making this change and I apologize for any inconvenience it may cause you.

I was invited to take part in a written interview for creative professionals based on self-expression and collaboration. The questions intrigued me. I found them to be very honest and it allowed me to search within myself for questions I hadn’t known I could find the answers to.
The interview can be viewed at Interview with Daune Sheri.
