Introducing Sandy!

A beautifully intimate portrayal of Sandy as the bride dressed in white; delicate and petal-soft in the way the hues are captured in the light. Pastels were used to create this portrait, as it seemed an appropriate medium to reflect a mood of romance and desire.

This work of art has personal significance, as before Sandy’s wedding years ago, I had the honor of taking the photograph we used as reference in the creation of this piece. Sandy requested I paint this portrait for her, to present to her husband, on their fourteenth wedding anniversary! To view the portrait in greater detail, click on the image below.
