Introducing Connor!

In my previous entry, I included a portrait of Connor’s cousin, Helena for viewing. I’d like to take a moment now to feature Connor. His grandmother put much thought into the perfect photograph to use as reference for his portrait. I couldn’t have been happier with her choice.

I can’t think of a more heartfelt gift to give your child, than a portrait of their child. This is what Helena’s grandmother requested – a portrait of her granddaughter for her daughter. As luck would have it, she also wanted a portrait of her grandson for her son. Yes, Connor’s portrait will be up for viewing soon! What a joy it has been to do this for her…

It’s that time of year again when I begin accepting commission portraits for the winter holiday season! If you are looking for a unique gift for Chistmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa… this is a truly personal way to give from the heart.

I work from photographs you send of your child or pet as reference to recapture that certain moment in time and portray it in a different light by using graphite pencil or colored pencil. Other mediums are also available upon request.
